Operations at Gooseberry Park Cottages during COVID-19
We are implementing a limited contact procedure resort wide. These procedures are put in place to keep you, your family, and our family safe. Our COVID-19 Operation Plan will help you create memories while keeping safety in mind. This plan is subject to change at any time and will continue to be updated as the COVID-19 situation evolves.
Enhanced & Expanded Cleaning & Disinfecting Procedures
We will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all highly touched surfaces that include, but are not limited to, all door handles, kitchen appliances, faucets, kitchen chairs, light switches, TV and DVD remotes, cabin keys, bedroom dressers, deck chairs, gas grills, window cranks and latches. All furniture, including bed mattresses will be sprayed with disinfectant.
We have removed all non-essential items in cottages and motel rooms and suites: puzzles, games, throw pillows, magazines, fans, etc. Additionally we will not be able to provide DVD movies.
We understand that this year is a very strange and difficult one in many ways. If you are in a high-risk health situation or do not feel comfortable traveling at this time and need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible.
As refunding deposits would put us in a financial hardship, we will not be refunding deposits for any reservation that is outside of the normal refund window (See cancellation policy).
Instead we are providing you with the following options:
1. Donate your deposit to us.
A. As we have no other resort revenue streams besides cabin rentals, we are stuck.
B. If you choose this option, THANK YOU!! We are deeply grateful for your support and our continued operation.
2. Move your deposit to a future reservation within one year of your original arrival date.
A. If you have another reservation on the books, it can be moved to that reservation.
3. Cancel and receive no refund of your deposit.
To reduce the number of people entering our office (and home), our office will be closed to guests until further notice. We have made alternate arrangements for checking in, payment, and checking out. Check in time remains the same: After 3pm.
No in-person check out will be available. Check out time is 10am. NO late check out time is available.
Expectations Of Guests
Continue to practice social distancing, small groups not over 10 people, and good hygiene habits of washing hands for at least 20 seconds, frequently throughout the day, or using hand sanitizer when hand washing is not available.
If You are Sick, Please Stay Home
Please remember that the healthcare systems in this region are very capable, but also small. If you are sick or showing symptoms of the following: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle aches, headache, diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell, please stay home.
Bedding and Linens
Until further notice, we will only be providing sheets and towels in the cabins, motel rooms and motel suites. You will need to bring your own pillow and blankets.
In addition to our regular guest/visitor policy, until further notice, we are not allowing any visitors. There will be No exceptions.
